HorseSense: Bringing Equine Learning Into the Classroom

Educational services

A sensory-based equine facilitated learning experience designed for schools, homes, and community spaces.

HorseSense: Horses Offering People Education is excited to partner with local schools to offer a collaborative, classroom-based enrichment experience.

HorseSense brings the magic of equine facilitated learning into everyday environments—without the need for horses onsite. Instead, students engage through thoughtfully designed, sensory-based activities inspired by the barn.

What is HorseSense?

HorseSense is a sensory-based equine facilitated learning (EFL) program that introduces students to the principles of horse-human connection in an accessible, engaging way.

Through hands-on activities, students experience:

  • Sensory exploration using real barn elements

  • Emotional awareness and regulation

  • Confidence-building exercises

  • Teamwork and communication skills

Each session is designed to be interactive, meaningful, and adaptable to the needs of the group.
