“Admission is by Union Rags out of Raffle Ticket by A.P. Indy. ‘Ollie’ was donated by Godolphin to the University of Findlay’s English equestrian program in October 2021. He had a total earning of $2,040 with 2 starts.

The University of Findlay took Ollie to compete at the 2022 Thoroughbred Makeover. He placed 5th in the Team Division for Show Hunter. He took everything in stride and acted like a real show horse for his first time off the property.

Ollie is currently being used for freshman ride time at UF. He has also been used for many IHSA/IDA/Eventing practices and shows. We are very lucky to have such a classy Thoroughbred and we can’t wait to see how he continues to progress.

As for words of wisdom to future competitors: The Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover has a welcoming show environment for those that might be attending their first show. Everyone is very open to helping each other and are very knowledgeable. Don’t be afraid to reach out to anyone at any time. Also don’t be afraid to make mistakes as this is a great learning experience for both the horse and rider”.
